Remind 101

I have really enjoyed sharing this new texting tool with teachers in the last couple of weeks. It is called Remind 101 and allows you to text messages about your class to parents and students from an app or computer without ever using your own phone number or knowing their numbers. It is genius! Parents sign up for your texts by sending a message to the number you provide them from the Remind 101 folks. They add the message you ask them to send also. Then they are added to your contacts and when you send from your Remind 101 app or website account those signed up will get your messages. No one can reply, it is simply for you to transmit news. They don’t know your number and again, you don’t know theirs. It is pretty great! FREE also. This is great for alerting about tests, supplies needed, or homework. Coaches and club leaders will like it so they can notify parents about pick up times and details. Get signed up now!
