Writing Workshop: Strafford

Extend your Predictable Chart experiences with these simple books students can make using cut up sentences. I made these for you to use to get you started.  Big thanks to the KinderGals: Kim Adsit and her daughter Megan Merrell for the great idea! I give them total credit for this ingenious way to work with high frequency words! Check out their wonderful ideas and resources on Teachers Pay Teachers. Thanks to the KinderGals for making learning fun and sharing their wonderful strategies!

Click HERE to Download the Smart Notebook Activity to go with the Cut the Sentences Books!
So, I took the cut the sentences activity and stretched it to include the Smart Notebook lesson above. Students can manipulate the words and pictures on the Smart Board before or after making the book for practice or enrichment!
