What a great couple of weeks I’ve had! Hey to my Texas, Alabama, and Michigan friends I’ve seen this month! It was a lot fun to chat and share stories with you.
So, here’s what’s APPening on my iPad. Like that? I try to be clever, you know.
1) Overgram for my Instagram pals. I love Instagram. It is really a simple way to share what is going on with folks and how you see things on any given day. To make the experience a little sweeter, I stumbled upon Overgram that several of my daughter’s friends have been using. With Overgram you can take your pics and add a caption or saying over the picture. You kind of create an inspirational poster of your own to share. Overgram is a free app and of course there are upgrades you can choose to make things more customized.
2) Word Cloud Lovers… Try Tag Cloud app on iPad. I have several word cloud creators on my iPad, but none of them have really wowed me. Tag Cloud does cost $.99 but to me it is worth it. You can’t make shapes like Tagxedo, but you do have more interesting word cloud options and colors. Keep using those word clouds and try out Tag Cloud.
3) Nearpod: I am really liking Nearpod and the capability to share lessons/presentations with students and keep them on literally the same page as the teacher. Nearpod is a content sharing app that is free. I like to be able to insert student interactive tasks throughout the lesson and Nearpod does that. I am including it in my new book, but wanted to give you the heads up to check it out. Once you have it all set up and ready to go it can be really useful.
