The excitement continues to build for the SDE National Conferences in Las Vegas next week! Here are a couple of  updates you will want to know.

1) SDE National Event App: We Have an App for That!
In addition to your packing, go ahead and head to the App Store for the FREE SDE National Conferences App to help you navigate your way through all the extraordinary things coming up next week. You are going to love it! I have mine ready to go and I really like the ease of use. I can already tell there is going to be so much collaboration happening!

2) So, what you you doing Tuesday night, July 16? Why don’t you join me and lots of others at the Teacher/Blogger Meet-Up taking place at the Venetian at 6:30 p.m. This is a great time to meet new people, share ideas, and hear the latest from those in the know! More than anything, it is just plain FUN! Visit the Facebook Event page to register!

3) Instagram Fever! Great minds think alike. I am not the only one recognizing the fun and power of using Instagram to share ideas and learn from one another. Not only do I invite you to follow me, @Accidental Techie, but I encourage you to post your pics and use the hashtag #teachersfollowteachers to find other educators to follow. It has been incredible to watch how many teachers are getting on board in the last few days. Watch my Instagram postings for pictures you can use to teach things in your classroom. Spy out my #lorisinstalearning hashtags! Finally, at the SDE conferences in the next 2 weeks, use the hashtag #SDE2013 to share memories and learning from the events!

4) Tweet! Tweet! I am a big Twitter fan! I rely on my PLN (Personal Learning Network) to keep me going. As you attend sessions, please tweet about the things you learn and like! #SDE2013 Get in the swing of Twitter by following these SDE presenters: DrLoriElliott, Laureen Reynolds, Matt Gomez, Rick Wormeli, Donna Whyte, Diane Heacox, and Katie McKnight just to name a few.
