Best Buy has a wonderful grant program called Te@ch. They awarded 460 schools across the nation from $1000 to $10,000 to enhance their instruction using technology. I have a friend, Hey Glenda!, who was awarded $4000 to spend on various equipment such as cameras, Flip videos, etc. You just have to share how you would take an existing lesson and enhance it with technology. The grants were just awarded for this year in March.
Applications will be accepted from July-September, so be thinking about a proposal. How could you jazz up something you are already doing if you have some more technology? Check out Best Buy’s site to see the winners and ideas: Best Buy Grant

We kicked off our 3rd Grade PBL with a Firefighter, EMT, Nurse, and Police Officer visit and brainstormed how we want to show them appreciation for everything they do for us. The kids are so excited for the expo! We love our first responders!🚑🚔🚒🚨@HumbleISD_DWE @drlorielliott
