Blogger is a fantastic tool. However, the navigation bar at the top may worry you. There is a way to remove the Next Blog button and other tools at the top. Visit these sites to get the directions for removing the buttons. I hope you find it helpful.

Lori, the advice on your 2nd link states to paste the instructions between the head…head in the layout. This is absolutely necessary for blogger to accept it!
Also, how can I embed a document in my blog? For example, can I link word documents so that parents can print them out at home?
At this point, I don’t know a way to attach a document on a Blogger blog. However, I have copied and pasted one in Paint, which is a part of Microsoft on your computer. In paint, the document is saved as a jpeg, so it is like a photo. Then you can insert it in your blog. I will keep researching other ways to post documents.
