Photo Books for a Great Price

In March my husband and myself along with our good friends, Shari & Randy,  took a group of 11 students to Gulf Shores, Alabama on a senior trip for Spring Break. We had the absolute best week! I haven’t laughed that much in years. We’ve watched these kids grow up and it was a joy to travel with them and spend time together.

It was important to me to share updates of our amazing trip with parents throughout the week. I used Instagram and Facebook to post pictures and updates of our fun. I used Animoto to quickly put together video slideshows to share highlights of the trip. All the parents seemed to really appreciate the constant stream of pictures and news.

We took over 2,000 pictures during the week. The most efficient way to share all those photos for me was to put them in a Dropbox folder and share the link. This allowed everyone to have access to all the photos and pick and choose the ones they wanted to keep. Shari and I wanted all the kids to have a momento of the trip so I put together a photo book using Shutterfly. The great thing about Shutterfly is they offer bulk pricing for their books. I needed around 15 books so this really saved me money. If you are wanting to put together an end of the year class book or a special occasion book, check out Shutterfly. I created 30 page, soft cover books for about $10 a piece. Then I had a coupon for free shipping, so it was a great deal! The more copies you need, the cheaper they get! Here’s the finished product:

Create your own personalized photo books at Shutterfly.com.

You can find the bulk photo book pricing by going to the very bottom of the Shutterfly website. You put in the number of books you need, pages, and type of cover and they will let you know the price. These books are perfect gifts and keepsakes for special trips, events, and groups!
