Kids Voting

I have been so blessed to spend the last week in Hawaii and I will blog more about that later… but for now I wanted to share with you a resource I saw on their local news that caught my attention. In preparation for the upcoming presidential election.. Hawaii students can participate in their own voting through a program called Kids Voting Hawaii. As soon as I saw the news report I was sure Kids Voting was probably offered in other places as well. I was right. If you are still looking for meaningful ways to have your students participate in the election process, check out Kids Voting.
You can find ideas and resources to have your own election day. By the way, the process is done online! Also, you can Google  Kids Voting and your state and I bet you will find your own Kids Voting site for your state. I found Missouri!
