Kid’s Discover & Bindle

Here’s a couple of new apps that might be helpful in the upcoming weeks.

I have used and loved the Kid’s Discover magazines for years. Well, now there is an interactive app for the Space issue of Kid’s Discover. What I really like about Kid’s Discover is the visuals are always stunning and they fill the text with interesting tidbits students enjoy. This app does cost, but could be really helpful during your Space Unit.

How about taking the pictures from your camera roll and making your own PDF copy of a Picture book? A new app came out today called Bindle. This app isn’t free but I like that you can make the photo books and save as a pdf then share in iBooks, Slide Share, or Dropbox. This could be great to use in class!
