Two things I rarely get to do any more due to how I keep busy these days are 1) attend a conference as a learner and 2) get to hang out with a pal at a conference. Well, I got to do both this year at ISTE! I attended lots of sessions and I got to take it all in with my friend, Laureen Reynolds. We learned, problem solved, collaborated, wished, laughed, ate, planned… Yep, it was a great week! By the way, Laureen has a new book coming out in July about Smart Boards! It is da bomb! ( I know that is so old school, but hey it is!)  Professional Development is more than a workshop. It is the conversations that take place before, during, and after those sessions.
