Happy Tech or Treat!

Happy Tech or Treat! I thought it would be fun to treat my favorite people, teachers, to some special goodies today on Halloween! All day I will be tweeting, Instagramming, and blogging about helpful tech tips and resources. The most BOO-tiful part of the day will be the giveaways! Throughout today I will be posting different opportunities to win special prizes. You will want to keep checking for sweet chances to win all day!
So let’s get this Spooktacular day started with a chance to win a copy of my latest book, Teach Like a Techie with Apps! I will be giving away 2 copies today. Simply answer a sweet question, leave a comment on this blog post about your favorite iPad app,  or tweet about our Tech or Treat fun! (Don’t panic when you leave a comment on the blog post when you don’t see it immediately. I have comment moderation working, so I will publish them as quick as I can!)  You can even do all three for more chances to win! I will notify the winners by email. You have until three o’clock  on Friday to enter! Start clicking. Have a Wickedly Wonderful Day and talk to you soon!

  1. I have been using "CloudArt" with my students lately. Focusing on vocabulary words and also theme related words, such as "Halloween"! For Gifted kids, try having them use the thesaurus to amp up their words. Circle more common words and have them replace them. The kids really like this activity.

  2. I don't have a favorite app… yet! I just got an IPAD mini last week for our Dibels monitoring and I'm still waiting to get the 'ok' to add 'stuff' and let kids at it! I am definitely keeping track of your posts and will let you know as soon as I find one! Thanks for all the great ideas!!

We at "Sunday Morning" love a good book- and so does blogger Katie Fulton. Fulton created this Christmas Tree that's, well tree-mendously impressive! She admits to reading ONLY 266 of the 460 books. Quite a novel idea.
