Get the Picture!

Pinterest and Twitter and Instagram, oh my! In the last year, my love of pictures has collided with social media. I can’t get enough of finding ideas and keeping up with folks using these favorite apps. I’ve had an Instagram account for over a year now and just get a kick out of seeing what my family and friends are doing. Back a few months ago, I decided to broaden my Instagram addiction and I started a second account for The Accidental Techie! I have been trying to remember to also post pictures there of things related to professional development, teachers I meet, places I am staying, etc. But, sad face… not too many of you have found me on Instagram through the link I put on the side of the blog. So, here is my summer mission… I want to get at least 100 people to follow The Accidental Techie on Instagram. What a wimpy goal. My daughter has over 300 without trying, whatevs! Come on, it will be fun! Also, if you set up a teacher or classroom Instagram account I will follow you. The few that I have found out there using Instagram to share teacher ideas or classroom pics are wonderful but I need more people to follow also! So, get your iPhones ready and start taking pictures. Install the free Instagram app on any smart phone and click here on my Instagram button to follow me! Wahoo! This is going to be good!
